Is there a photo that you've been looking for? Maybe a specific station, equipment or weather photo (snow, fog, etc)? Post here and maybe someone will be able to help you out.
I'll get the ball rolling.....
Does anyone have a nightime photo of the Great River station from the overpass located west of the station?

I don't (yet), but I could get one easily (since by the time I get home, it's dark already...) I have a few night shots of one of the stairs to the platform, but that's about it on the night stuff there for now. If you want to take a look, I have some others (daytime stuff) at one of my pages... http://www.geocities.com/jmeechum/great_river.htmNot much yet, its a work in progress... In the meantime, give me a few days....

Fantastic idea, kuzzel!!!
I would love any night shots from Montauk Station, especially with the old equipment (like in my avatar). I love that area at night.
Please and thanks :-)

Wow! kuzzel540 Super! Kyle: The requests will "die" after a few days as old posts, BUT: After an original post to LIRR photos, save them in a specific forum: "LIRR Photo Requests" OR have these items posted directly into a new forum. Easy to search, etc. Folks: ?

Maybe all that's needed is to sticky the thread beneath the MTA Memo on Photography topic.

You're welcome... let me know if you'd like them larger (I downsize 'em for the board) They download into my computer at 1504 x 1000 pixels.
Oh... and what's a 2734 (train number, I presume?) And if so, how does the average moron like me determine what number a train is?
(Ok... I'm smarter than the average moron...)

2734 is the train #. If you look at the bottom of the schedule you can see the train #.
Note: The stopped listing both the MU to Diesel on the bottom and is now only the diesel.
