MODERATORS NOTE:
Lets keep this to a request for a specific photo scene, perhaps to be used in an article, paper, or published piece.  This is not a photo contest or comparison for "who has the best".  Please limit requests to things such as:  "Can anyone provide a photo of an MP72 entering Port Washington Station?"
Make the requests simple, fulfillable, and not strings attached.
 Thank you!

Good idea, Dick.  Even better, I would suggest that this thread be for requests only - if people can fulfill requests, contact the poster by PM.  In PMs you have the same ability to add attachments and/or embed photos within the message without risk of sending a virus, like through email.

On the Syosset Memories website, there is a picture of the "Young's Coal Towers".  One shows it in the distance, functional, while another shows it during demolition.  The towers once stood where the Big Apple Supermarket stands today.

Can you post a link to that?  I can't find it with Google.

(sigh) It's always something!

Try this, and then dig a bit.  It's got some spectacular steam shots on the Port Jeff line.  The pictures of the coal towers may be under Pam Boslet's file.  There are a few of E6s, #460, derailed at Jackson Avenue crossing!  The only preserved E6s!

Great site.  Thanks for the link.  Even though I was born and raised in Queens,  I like to see the history of LI.

I would like to see a picture of the old Union Hall St. Station (east of Jamaica) in service.  I've loked all over (Dave's site, Art's and Bob's) and there only seemed to be 2 or 3 in existence.

Also...  I'm wondering if anyone has any pics (or even drawings, etc.) of Thompson (aka:  Thompson's Station) that was located at the LIRR & where the Sagtikos now is.

Anyone?  Thanks in advance!
