Progress has been a bit slow lately due to my work schedule, but now only Deer Park remains...

http://www.lirrpics.com/bethpage.htm

What exactly is that thing in the "Bethpage10"    picture.

http://www.lirrpics.com/bethpage/bethpage10.html

I assume it's some kind of message board ...?  I've never seen it in operation.

Well, I finally got off my ass (or should it be on my ass, because I'm sitting at the computer?) and finished the Ronkonkoma Branch.  I'll be starting on the Port Jeff Branch soon....

I have pictures of PJ through Syosset... anyone interested in contributing, check the link on the site, or PM me here... thanks.

I had an idea....  (doesn't happen very often...)

I'd like to add the on-board announcements (such as "This is the train to Babylon... the next station is Islip"  that you hear on the bilevels, etc.), to the links between the station pages. (You'd only hear it when you click on the link...)   Anyone have audio clips of these or have any idea how I might get them?
Getting them myself is out... since I'm down in Charlotte.... Grin

Newest addition...

Smithtown:

http://www.lirrpics.com/smithtown.htm

I've started adding audio announcements to some of the pages... currently they're on the index page (on the timetables), and on the Smithown page (at the bottom for the "next stop" buttons... but only for St. James so far.), plus the Islip page.   How close did I get? Grin
