Where in the route does it happen?  By Hicksville?

Anderson2 is a scenery object that looks like a lumber yard. I deleted all the Anderson2s from the route (at least I thought I did).  And after that I deleted the applicable shape and texture files from texture and shape folders in the lipj3v116 or 117 route folder.

The solution would be either of 2 things.  A simple route editor fix, or copy and paste the 3 shape files and 1 texture file from the shape and texture folders in the Northeast Corridor route folder.  The route editor fix is to start the route editor and fly along the route, and wherever the object is missing the error message will appear.  Just click "continue" and "save" each time.

I hope this helps.

An easy method to eliminate this error and the additional 24 errors of missing shapes and textures is to use RouteRiter.
Takes about 2 minutes to fix all the errors.

For a while I have been wanting to have in the scenery some typical 1960s and 70s dark green garbage trucks.  Here is an International Harvester COF1800 or 1900.  This kind was made from 1963 or 67 to 1973.  I could not find a straight head on view to use as a front texture.  So, the front view is a little distorted.

That route that Joe did was nice. Im working on scenery on the and improving the Long Beach branch and also im going to redo the station and track in Long Beach. So far I added two platforms in Island Park and moved it back a little. overall I enjoyed it.

Here is a St. James station I made tonight.  The photos for the skin textures were taken in 1982 or 83.  Does anyone know how long before then the station was painted from white to red?

Actually, I like both the FAs, but I am partial toward FAs.  When I was really small (about 4 or 5 years old) I used to play with my brothers' Lionel UP FAs.  They were so cool: the small number boards, the marker lights that lit up, the fan cover, etc.

Here are two more scenery objects from the 1960s for LIRR routes.  One is a 1963 Michigan 125A Series II tractor shovel.  The other is a 1968 FWD RB6-3117 10 to 12yard 6x6 dump truck.  Both were Town of Smithtown Highway Department vehicles, but were used around LI at the time.  If anyone wants a copy please send me an PM.

Thanks Kyle.  It is a replacement for 2 trucks from train-sim.com that I had re-textured.

Here are two more scenery objects.  One is the powerhouse at Kings Park State Hospital that existed from around 1910 to 1968.  I also used it in Pilgrim and CI State Hospitals.  The other is Building 93 at KPSH.  I also used it at Edgewood State Hospital, and could use it at Pilgrim.

Attached are a few scenery objects I made for msts.  In the foreground is a 1960s and 70s FWD RB44 four-wheel-drive truck with a snow plow and salt spreader.  It is a relatively quick and dirty model.  All parts except the plow, beacon light, and spreader are from an older 6x6 version.  I just took off the dump body and  two dual rear wheels from a copy of the old one.  Then, I shortened the frame, and made the new parts.  It is not super accurate, but I hope it looks good from typical viewing distances.  Suffolk County DPW had a few like this, painted yellow, too.  I would expect that the Town of Oyster Bay had them, too (also in yellow).  Hempstead and North Hempstead probably had them in their own colors.

Second is a Shell staition.  I wanted something a little more typical for LI than the 3 stations in the route.

Third is Charlies Home Center, a typical two story commercial building: red brick facade, olive stucco sides and rear.

Here is a revised building and a new building.  Both are at the Kings Park State Hospital, but I plan on using them at the other state hospitals, and some parts of the city.  Two new buildings in the background are Buildings C and D.  They are the same object, kpshbldga.  Buildings A, B, C, and D were identical to each other.  Built between 1893 and 1897, burned around 1970. Many detail shapes are not included, but the overall shapes and dimensions are correct.

To the right is a revised Building 5.  The shapes, size, and number of wings are now correct, and to scale.  The clerestory windows are now included.  The building was built around 1900 to 1910.  It is still there.
