So I take it somebody at RMLI is going to paint a P72 in the coming weeks?

I smell paint in Riverhead. Car 2907 is about 75% done getting primed. But due to the heat and no help we only got 75% done. But considering Rich and I were the only ones painting and it was 95 degrees out I think we did a good job. We will be doing more next week. Great to see progress, thanks for posting!

Very good to see some positive progress at RMLI. What a pity more railfans didn't make the time to come out and help. Considering the paint is available, one would have hoped this tangible effort could have been started and concluded in a single weekend. Kudos, gentlemen.

That car at W&S looks strange in those colors. Odd seeing PRR colors on a strictly LIRR car.
Which leads me to ask, was the LIRR the only one to have P72 & P75 cars and their variants? I always see LIRR rosters with them, but never saw mention (or don't remember) of other railroads using them. I know there are Pullman books with rosters & drawings, but never saw one.
Anthony, good work on the painting. I hope to meet you Saturday in Greenport.
