THROTTLE 8 BABY!

For those of you who know me this may be good news or bad news. I have tentatively accepted a position with the NY&A starting sometime next month. The CMO and I go way back and are good friends. I somewhat look forward to a return to Long Island but I will be bi-coastal and that brings it's own sets of challenges and most of all I will not like the prospect of enduring a separation from my wife and children. On the upside, I do get to see other family members and friends still on Long Island and in New Jersey.

If anybody here has a room to rent for short term (two to three months) please let me know. The more I can keep my costs down, the better it is for all. I would rather be in the Smithtown area as that is home turf. As soon as I get my Mustang's transmission done, the sooner I will be on the east coast. Whether I decide to return to museum work on weekends is still up in the air for me. I know of a couple Alcos up north that need my TLC so we'll see.

Later.

Outstanding news, Paul!  I can lease you the apartment on the side of our house, but we are 400 miles from Long Island, so the cheap rent might not make up for the travel expenses.....  It is the East coast.  Congratulations anyway.

Thank you Dick for the gracious offer but I am looking for something just a little closer to the shop.
