Not really RR but this place is dead anyways and I know some members would like to see this.

The boat Ive been on the last week has a Fairbanks 38D81/8th.  Still, the coolest sounding engine in my book.  However, they are LOUD.  Try living on top of one running for a week.  Its not fun.

 To bad they never caught on on RRs, there getting over 4kHP out of them now in marine applications.  We ran a crane barge (43' wide in a 44' wide canal lock) up to Lake Champlain.  Ill post some more pix and vids of the FM when I get home..

Nova55...if you don't post video with audio...loud audio...FBM sound audio...I will get a petition and ask that the moderators and all who wish to join in, tie you onto the side of a GP7 with all doors open to the engine compartment and run it for at least one full fuel tank full at about 6th notch uphill all the way!

Meh, The boat im on this moment is an EMD, wouldn't phase me..But yes, video either tomorrow night or Thursday, depends when I get home to a real internet connection.
