I decided to try a little side business with railroad related items. If anyone's interested, I have the following available:

Dashing Commuter Mouse Pad $7.00

Dashing Commuter Vinyl Sticker $3.45

Railroad Crossing Sign Vinyl Sticker $1.50

For New York State orders I have to collect sales tax. Shipping charges are $.50 for the stickers and $3.00 for the mouse pad.

Email me with any questions and for ordering info at btower@optonline.net
Thanks, AL

Al,
GREAT looking stuff!

Any chance of a 2 tone M mouse pad in the future? That would be sweet...

I have a few ideas but I need to sell some of the current stuff first. The two tone M is one of them. What's preferred, the M on yellow like the Alcos & hacks, or on white like for the EMD stuff?

Thanks for the comments. -AL

I have one of these "Dashing Dan" decals on my truck cap window.  They stand up very nicely in the sun and water and look really nice.  Incidentally, it's the proper "Dashing Dan"!

Speaking of Dashing Dan, I just noticed on my way into work today that both of the Harold protect engines - I think they are #102 and #104 - have large Dashing Dan logos on their sides. Is this new or have I just not noticed it before?

I, for one, would be happy tgo see Dan (and Dottie) make a comeback!

I posted about the same thing a while back.  It looked to me like there were new, bigger logos on them, but I had the same thought you did that maybe I have just been missing it!

Yesterday on my way into Greenport I saw a LIRR maintenance truck parked on the roadside & it looked like a Dashing Dan on the side door instead of the M. I probably should've gone back for a photo...
